Egg, boiled - 4
Garlic - 6 cloves
Ginger - a medium piece
Green chilly - 4
Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Curry leaves - 2 sprig
Coriander leaves - a bunch
Coconut oil - as required
Coconut milk, thick - 1/2 cup
Dry red chilly (vattal mulaku) - 3 Nos
Shallots - 4
Fennel seeds(perumjeerakm) - 1/2 tablespoon
Salt - to taste
Pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder-1 table spoon
Onion, medium - 4
Tomato, medium - 1
Kashmiri chilly powder - 1/4 teaspoon


Egg Kuruma is a super tasty dish which is my innovative recipe.Do try this and enjoy your food.You can see the video as well.


Heat oil in a manchatti/earthern vessel.


When the oil is hot, add chopped ginger, garlic, curry leaves and green chilly.


Add fennel seeds to this. Saute until the raw smell goes.


Add sliced onion to this and saute well until onion turns translucent.


Add sliced tomato to this and saute until it turns mushy and soft.


Add half portion of the chopped coriander leaves to this and saute well.


Now turn off the flame and let it cool.


Remove half portion of the sautéed and grind it in a mixer to a smooth paste. Do not add water to grind.


Keep the half in the pot itself.


Now switch on the fire in a low to medium flame.


Add ground paste to this and mix well. Add required salt now.


Add turmeric powder and coriander powder to this and saute well.


Add 1 cup of warm water to this and mix well.


Add boiled eggs to this and let it boil.


When it boils bring down the flame and add coconut milk to this.


Mix well and switch off the flame.


Sprinkle pepper powder and chopped coriander leaves.


In a pan, heat oil add mustard seeds, dry chilly, curry leaves and chilly powder.season this to the dish.


Tasty egg kurma is ready now.Do try with chappathi,porotta etc.
